Emissivity is factory set at 0.95 for simplicity in reading the broadest range of surface materials. There are no extra settings to learn. Pull the trigger for an instant reading. Hold it down for scanning or checking a changing temperature. Let go of the trigger and the last reading is held in the display. A max. temp reading is constantly visible for peak readings. It resets with the auto-off after about 15 seconds. The only other control to master is a simple °C/°F button. So, all you need to do is put the batteries in the I.R. Gun and pull the trigger to measure temperature anywhere.
The main display of the I.R. Gun is quite large and it’s backlit for easy viewing anytime. Batteries are included and replacements can be found anywhere (2xAAA). This is a hiqh-quality, professional tool that will surprise you at this price.
